Just Checking In! (Where I've been)

Whew! It's been a while, hasn't it?

So, yeah. I did leave this blog dormant for almost a whole year. I don't really have an excuse, other than school and relax stuff.

But, well, i'm here! I'm alive and kicking. Kicking what? I don't know. Probably the last person i saw who said dogs are better than cats.

So, what have i been up to? Well, for one, I've been in school. My teacher this year is horrible, she's cruel (not just saying that because she tells us off, she is genuinely cruel, and everyone I've seen in my class hates her.) and also makes us do Virtual School, which is stressful, and i am on the verge of doing summer school. Just so i don't get withdrawn from my math class, i have to do math over my winter break, and i hate math.

But that's not fun, is it?! No! So in my free time, I've been reading loads of Pokemon manga! It all started when i thought about reading the G/S/C arc so i could understand the HG/SS arc (which was my first manga ever, i had a crush on Gold when i was younger which is as embarrassing as it sounds.) better, but i ended up LOVING the arc so i went on to read more. So far I've enjoyed every arc that I've read except for D/P/P.

But that's all for now. Don't be too surprised if i disappear for 10 months again. If i do, i'm either talking about how much i love Gold, or suffering.

Happy 2019!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I know i know, i'm extremely late. It's been 2019 since, well, a month and 9 days ago, but i've been doing other things! You can't blame me! (Well, maybe you can, but don't!)

How has everybody's year been going so far? I've gotten into a few shows, i'll make reviews on them soon maybe? I finally got that Nintendo Switch, sadly i dropped it yesterday and now the red Joycon is broken. My friends hate me too but i have better friends so uhhh, yeah? Of course it hasn't been all bad, but bad experiences make for good content, right?

That's all from me for now though. I hope to see more posts from myself this year and hope you do too!

No more new Dream Friends for Kirby Star Allies?

Hello everyone! Pocket Spark here. I've got some news in today's post, regarding another Nintendo game. This one is about our favorite piece of chewed bubblegum, Kirby!

In the past few months, Hal and Nintendo have been hyping up everyone by releasing new Dream Friends into Kirby Star Allies. We got some pretty cool ones too, like Rick and Daroach. However, this is all about to change.

About 1 to 2 days ago, it was announced that Hal was no longer adding any Dream Friends into the game.

This also marks the end of Kirby Star Allies's development.

I assume that Hal is going to release more updates, seeing as the game has only been around for 9 months and that would be a quick time to stop development, but i will let you place your theories.

Something i hope for in Lets Go Eevee + Minor Critique

Hey everyone! It's Pocket here! I do not yet have a Switch, sadly. I have a PlayStation 4 and as much as i enjoy playing Spyro Reignited and Sonic Forces (which is also available on Switch!) i do wish to get a Switch soon. So i've decided to make a post of something i'm hoping to see from Lets Go Eevee, because i do wish to get LGE instead of LGP.

Ride able Pokemon

So i have seen this before and i believe this is actually a feature in the game which is very good. I applaud Game Freak for doing this and i hope that the boundaries will get looser in this game. What i mean by that is the amount of Pokemon that are ride able. In Sun and Moon you could only ride 7 Pokemon, 2 of which you could only use in water and 1 which was only used as a replacement for the "fly" HM. I hope in this game that we can ride more Pokemon. Imagine how cool it would be to stomp around on a Nidoking or fly through the air on a Charizard. Overall, i really hope Game Freak improved ride able Pokemon.

My Minor Critique

As excited as i am to play this game, there is one thing i do not like about it. This can be huge or minor depending how you see it, but i don't see this as such a large issue personally. What is my issue, you may wonder? My issue is the plot and scenery of the game. Let me be real here, even though the game no doubt great, but to tell the truth, the game is just a huge cash grab. The game is trying to attract newer fans with the Pokemon GO and the older fans with it being a Gen One remake. Another thing is that we do not need another Gen 1 remake. We already had 2 Gen 1 games before with Red, Blue, Yellow, Green in Japan, Fire Red and Leaf Green so i think it's time to give another gen a chance. I do sort of get it however, Gen 1 is most definitely their most iconic gen.

In the end...

This is all my opinion. You do not have to agree with me. You are not wrong and i am not wrong, but we are both not right with whatever we think. I am not trying to force you into agreeing with me, i am just stating my mind!
